 The
SPA Underground Railways Passport Scheme has been
written by the industry for the industry.
The training is the product of a unique
collaboration between leading industry clients,
including Tran4M. The Underground railways sector
day focuses on those issues which are highly relevant
to those people who work on or around the underground
railways. Topics covered include:
- The underground work environment
- Workplace risk
- Licences permits and passes
- Plant and equipment
- Environment
- Occupational health
- Personal safety
Contactors should first undergo the core training
- this one-day session ensures that the delegates
grasp the basics of general good practice in health
and safety.
Acknowledged by the Health and Safety Executive
(HSE), the cost effective programme drives good
practice through the contractor supply chain increasing
safety awareness and contributing to higher standards
of safety and hygiene performance.
The Safety Pass Alliance work with employers,
employer associations, trade unions, NTO and other
relevant bodies to design and develop training programmes
tailored to suit each sector.
